I'm Prechan...small presentation... I am the leader of cZe with Rondine, I take care of everything basically ....I take care of the server, our Web site, the team so...In fact! : D
And of course I am French, so excuse my English knwoledge.
Firstly your proposal to join us to improve the server is something that really interests cZe and we discuss it between us.
To leave on a good foundation, I decided to come here to talk with you and so to explain to you our vision.
The server ZE is something that we have taken time to create, implement (especially me: p).
On the server itself. We want to make the best server ZE, for sure. And this requires a huge range of maps. We don't only want play the maps of the next generation like Mako/Preda etc...
We play every map from the moment she is friendly and where there is no bug.
I wanted your opinion on that. Because we often see the TCE on next-gen maps but not on the old-school maps.
Naturally, as is our server, we do not leave when changing map to get a map less "fashionable", if we want a full server, it is indispensable.
About language. We discussed it and I came to a system quite nice. You know that we are all French. We even refused to test Cookie because he isn't.
However, we have from the start, partly thanks to Scorpio, wanted to make the server multi language. Why ? Because there are so many good & nice players outside France, but also a lot of mappers. We want the server to become the standard for all. For its quality, fun, and easy to talk with administrators.
I think the way we deal with languages on the server as it is now is very good. Neither English or French encroach on one another. As long as it stays like that, it suits us!
We intend to continue to speak French among ourselves, without force you to keep quiet. Just dont flooding the voice chat.
Finally on the management. This is the most complex and will need most debate.
Concerning admins, you should know it costs money to become an administrator, it can pay the server. Finally admins are subject to rules of good behavior. They are there to enforce the rules, but also fun. That TCE become admins don't get bored, but the rules are the same as for cZe, basically. We are already quite a few admins, therefore we must avoid making bad work. And also, we don't want admins who are not part of the cZe (or TCE). We are already a lot. And this prevents the abuses.
For configuration and management. It will take a part where the cZe and the TCE will discuss together about the configuration on our forum or your.
We prefer to limit access to the account from our server at first. It owned by CestEx and has over all these secret identification. That's why I wanted to talk more with you here and I slowed down a bit Liongreen. It is better that we discuss all this before we get into the adventure and we must be disappointed.
I can take care alone configurations, as always. But of course we will take into consideration all the comments with equal importance, whether it's a cZe or TCE, and will discuss. It's what we are doing now.
I also take care of setting up a new website. You may have noticed that English is a little left out. If the junction is, of course it will provide an equivalent translation of all articles.
I think it is a good start to begin the discussion. As we took a lot of time and money to implement it, we prefer to go slowly. That is why I invite you to spend on the server every night, as we do, as soon as you can, for us to play and we will know better. To know is really important !
With the map of Patrao and that of Michelle, our community is already represented ! You can enjoy my panel that Patrao asked me to do to reward us to test his map on our server and our help to improve his great map !
